Bridges at the Golf Course

EIC furnished and installed three prefabricated bridges for the proposed golf course at Constable Hook. These bridges are part of a NJDEP program to provide public access to the Hudson County waterfront.

The longest of the bridges is 1100 feet long with intermediate support running every 100 feet.

The bridges were placed over wetlands which EIC had constructed.  Ten acres of saltwater marsh in an open water area were reclaimed from the bay.  Channels run through the wetlands and rock berms protect the channels from erosion and shelter the plantings. plantings.
